For the Love of Pets
In Loving Memory of Daisy

They say we are a nation of animal lovers and we truly do take our furry friends into our families and lavish them with love as we talk to them as if they understand every single word.
.
And they thrive on the intention of the energy we resonate from our very hearts. They take on our emotions and lift our day just with a look or a nudge or a wag of the tail.
The service our companions give is unwavering and so pure of spirit.
We are at our best when we love them as we exhibit a deep sense of our divine essence in the care we give only expecting back that they are at home with us an intrinsic place reserved for only them.
We depend on them being there when we return home from the world outside bruised and battered and in need of a friendly face. They understand our woes and voluntarily ease our sorrows and sooth our minds just with their presence, a chin on our lap and doleful eyes.
They distract us from our challenges and bring us to tears of laughter with their antics. We never tire of telling the stories of their adventures.
But they are only here for a short duration as much as we would like to hold on tight and keep them close. As we invest so much love the least easy thing to do is to give them permission to go., but to let them go we must!
The service is complete, the lessons are learnt and it is time to let them rest. They have undoubtedly taught us life lessons and were sent to open our hearts. To know the depth of kindness and compassion we possess and give through the responsibility of those who trust us implicitly. So reliant on us to ensure they are properly fed and watered, exercised and given copious amounts of complete and joyful attention.
They teach us how to live in the present, embracing every grain of life and opportunity. No matter what their challenges they will view life with fervent curiosity and joy.
Giving for the sake of giving.
Life without limit..
Loving without question.
They touch us so deeply there are no words capable of describing our feelings and have the capability of opening us up to the possibility we are divine and that our very existence is to explore from a place of complete acceptance.
They take down the barricades we have built as we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, open and trusting. Elements of ourselves often hidden away for fear of hurt.
Whatever our belief: Source, God, the Big Cheese, our little companions are sent to elicit our light and unleash the power we hold when we let go of judgement, criticism and the moral high ground. When we have come to know the answer is to engage our heart in all that we do we gain access to the key of freedom.
They have the innate ability to lift us from the 3D world we live in to a spiritual euphoria of peace and contentment. So exquisitely designed to bring humanity to a sense of oneness and connection.
No wonder we don't want it to end!
But the end is part of the lesson and giving permission for them to leave is a merciful blessing we can bestow on our benevolent buddies.
Be sure they knew our love and wanted nothing more.
The legacy they leave is inescapable and immeasurable.
We embody the lessons of their existence and they live on in our hearts.
