Making meditation a regular practice enhances your health and well-being. When you habitually meditate it trains your mind to return to a calm state more easily and in a shorter period of time. Within your busy life making time to meditate is a real investment in how you effectively navigate 21st century living.
Just by practicing meditation for fifteen minutes three times a week you will begin to feel the benefits. Meditation elevates the alpha waves in your brain associated with feeling at peace promoting relaxation and dissipates high beta waves that are present with anxiety and stress.
This meditation download focuses on the chakras. There are seven chakras (listed below). The chakras are the energy centres and they naturally rotate and supply energy to the meridians. The chakras are the pools and the meridians the rivers. This meditation maximises energy levels, cleanses and purifies, encourages flow of energy and regulates rhythm. It also promotes healing, connection and grounding, bringing back a sense of peace and serenity.
To gain the most from this meditation find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Find a comfortable position preferably sitting upright with your hands resting on your thighs and feet on the floor.
During the meditation if thoughts arise just notice and acknowledge and let them pass and take your focus back to the meditation and your breathing.
